I was born in Tamaki Makarau, and grew up in some incredibly picturesque rural areas; Mangakino, Waikaremoana, Te Manahuna ki Te Waipounamu. Capturing the essence of these areas as a young person through memory and art formed a passion for photography. Most of my childhood years were spent in the beautiful Te Manahuna ki Te Waipounamu, Mackenzie Basin. I enjoy being creative and capturing beautiful images in nature and beautiful authentic moments evoking emotion.
I now live in beautiful Northland, although I still travel throughout the country. I gained my New Zealand Diploma in Photography in 2022 giving me a great base to advance my curious creativity.
Every photo tells a story
I believe that every photograph has a story to tell. With a passion for creativity and a commitment to excellence, I have established myself as a contemporary photographer. Drawing inspiration from the interplay of light, shadow, and color, I capture visual narratives that evoke a sense of wonder and introspection.
During Covid, I studied at SIT to gain my NZ Diploma in Photography further enhancing my creativity. This gave me more knowledge and skills for using light, shadow, colour, composition and more.
Using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to finish photos is an art in itself and I gained these skills while studying and I continue to further enhance my skillset with every photoshoot.
